How much does mff registration usually cost? Pre-reg is about $65-$75 and at the door is $80 and thats for regular attendee badges.
How old do you have to be to go to FurFest?
Attendees under the age of 18 are issued clearly identifiable minor badges. Admittance to mature programming, vendor areas, and galleries are restricted to adults 18 years or older, and enforced either by badge check or legal photo ID age verification.

Can 13 year olds go to furry conventions?
Yes. If you are under 18 years old at the time of the convention, you need permission from your parents or a legal guardian in order to attend.
Is Midwest FurFest free?
Attendees 13 years old and older pay the full registration price. Children between 12 and 6 are charged half price for any standard attendee level and children under 6 are admitted free. We are also happy to provide a free badge to parents/guardians that are attending with their child.

In 1999, Midwest Furry Fandom, Inc., was created as a 501 (c)3 (non-profit corporation); one year later, Midwest Furfest was born. Since 2000, the convention has grown from 388 attendees to more than 10,000; one of the largest conventions of its type in the world.

We are proud to have raised over $540,000 for various wildlife and animal related charities. Additionally, the Midwest Furfest Art Show generates over $10,000 each year for the talented artists of furry fandom through auctions, donations, and benefits.
What is the furry track at MFF?
MFF began as the furry track for Duckon, which is a Chicago-based science fiction convention. It was started at Duckon 3 in 1994 and was headed up by Robert King. It grew larger yearly and it was estimated that by Duckon 8 (1999) between a quarter and a third of the attendees were there due to interest in the furry track.
