Today, Giannini’s plant is located at Salto, a city in the state of São Paulo (not far from the capital). They currently produce nylon and steel stringed guitars, craviola, viola caipira, cavaquinho, mandolin, violins, electric guitars and basses and some accessories such as guitar tuners and guitar strings.

Are Giannini electric guitars good?

Over all Giannini makes excellent guitars. I have seen 3 of these classical style, each was a little different color woods, but all excellent quality. I am very happy with Giannini, I own the steel string as well.

What is my guitar model?

Many guitars will have a model name next to the brand name, or it will be placed somewhere else on the guitar. Check the entire guitar as model names can be put just about anywhere (truss rod cover, neckplate, tailpiece, etc.). This guitar has a lovely tone and is so similar to the first guitar I got when I was sixteen. It is superbly crafted. It is a little small, but that does not bother me, since I am a little small myself. I saw that it is made in China, but has the label of Giannini inside.

Can adults use 3/4 guitars?

Even though 3/4-sized guitars are recommended for 8-12-year-olds, this doesn’t mean they are not suitable for adults, too. Increasingly, adult players – even experienced ones – have been opting for playing 3/4 size guitars too, due to the convenient size (especially when travelling) and the more punchy sound.

How do you tell what year your guitar is?

For US instruments, the serial number will start with a letter. That letter indicates the decade. The second character will usually be a number. That number indicates the specific year.
