How often should you wash Vetbed?

A further 5% admit to never washing their dog bed in the washing machine. To protect your pet from germs and to keep them as comfortable as possible, we recommend washing your dog’s bed at least once a week in hot water followed by drying it in high heat.

Can puppies eat vet bed?

Do dogs chew vet bed?

They can’t physically chew it! I’ve swapped out the lining thats on there for vet bed as it was a bit harsh on Pascos skin when he was at his most poorly. Its not a problem for a normal healthy dog! They can not pull or chew the vet bed, its impossible!

What do you put under a Vetbed?

I use waterproof terry towelling mattress covers under my vet bed. One can just cut it to size like the vet bed. This means you have another washable layer instead of constantly having to buy something. Also unlike towels keeps the bottom of the cage clean because it is PVC on the bottom.

Should you wash vet bed before?

Vetbed Original is machine washable at up to 90ºC and it dries quickly – a light brush whilst damp will maintain its condition. We recommend that you wash your Vetbed when you first buy it to help your pet settle quickly and minimise loose fibres.
