What is the best dorm at UW Madison?
Sellery Residence Hall is the best dorm on the Madison campus. Hands down. One could easily say this dorm is full of ‘character’.
Can you have pets at UW Madison?
Policy: By university regulation, dogs and other animals are not permitted in Wisconsin Union buildings at any time. UWS § 18.08(1) The presence of dogs, cats, and other pets is prohibited in all university buildings and in arboretums at all times except as authorized by the chief administrative officer.
Does UW Madison allow pets in dorms?
Service animals must be supervised at all times. The only other pets allowed in the residence halls will be fish in a 20-gallon or smaller tank. Unauthorized pets shall be removed from resident rooms.

Pets are only permitted in the hallways, stairways, or elevators if they are being transported to or from the owner’s apartment utilizing the shortest route between the outside and the staff member’s apartment. Live-in staff members must be in appropriate control of their pet at all times.
What does UW moving do?
UW Moving serves UW departments across campus and across town. We move offices, labs, libraries and more. We can move equipment or do specialized moves, and even event setup. Plus we’ll help you move items into storage if that’s what you need. We do not do residential moves. Do you need to surplus?
How far in advance should I contact UW moving?
For small jobs contact us at least two weeks ahead of time. The best time to schedule is as soon as you know you’re moving. During the summer or quarter breaks when UW Moving is busier, request service at least three weeks ahead of time. If the move you need isn’t to a new location but rather to or from storage, UW Moving does that too.
Where can I pick up my packages after I move-in?
Upon move-in, any packages that were not previously delivered to your room will be available for pickup at your residence hall’s front desk. Check the contact us page for your desk’s contacts and location. When you arrive at your designated check-in area, you will be directed to the check-in location for your building.
How do I get to the University of Washington Campus Parkway?
Take the NE 45th Street exit and proceed east on NE 45th Street towards the University of Washington. Move to the right lane as soon as possible and turn right onto Roosevelt Way NE. Move to the left lane. After a few blocks (just prior to crossing the University Bridge), turn left at the stoplight for NE Campus Parkway.
