Perhaps other locations are but Secaucus NJ Walmart, is not. This was a really nice Wal-Mart, likened to locatons in the south rather than North Jersey. The select was great in every department, as were the prices and we were able to check out quickly, since there were so many cashiers open.

The Walmart Secaucus location should re-evaluate it’s policy regarding self checkout and FAST during these times of crisis and uncertainty. I went to Walmart this morning 7am. New opening time due to COVID-19. I was doing regular shopping for 3 people and thus my cart was full. I went early to protect myself and others.

There are self checkout stations on either side of the store. The farthest out are 20 or so times or less, normally. The next set in, are 20+ items. Walmart NEVER has checkers at the remaining check stands this time in the morning which is understandable and not the issue. Today, they had one person operating a check stand.
