Is ODP Cancelled?

US Youth Soccer cancels ODP Summer Camp, altering National ODP selection process. US Youth Soccer has announced the cancellation of this year’s ODP Summer Camp, and provided an update on the upcoming selection process for the next National ODP cycle.

What is ODP level?

The U.S. Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program, or ODP as it is more commonly called, is a national identification and development program for high-level players.

What is NJ ODP?

ODP Teams. Our ODP teams train year-round and compete in regional tournaments against other states. Our teams are comprised of players that are seeking to play at the highest level and are using ODP to be identified for the Regional and National Teams.

Is ODP better than Ecnl?

ECNL yields more dependable results. The players are playing with their own teams and therefore are able to show better. ODP is a very uneven playing field, with members of some regional teams having only passing familiarity with one another.

How much does NJ ODP cost?

Is Da or ECNL better?

ECNL is clearly the preferred format for top colleges. On the male side, the best option is probably the DA. The DA is well-established while the male division of the ECNL is still relatively new. Again, the competition level is extremely high, and high level college coaches and scouts scour DA events.

How often are ODP try-outs held?

Each State Association holds ODP try-outs on an annual basis. Age Groups and try-out dates may be different from state to state, based on seasonal and state considerations.

What jerseys should I bring to an ODP event?

Players should always bring both jerseys to all ODP events! Players will be required to purchase two New Balance Jerseys (Navy and White). The Navy Shorts and White Socks are optional from soccer.com. Goalkeepers will be required to purchase a New Balance GK Jersey.
